Trail Life Summer Camp is located in Bellefontaine, Ohio. This week-long summer camp is designed to help Trailmen grow through meaningful experiences centered on adventure, character, and leadership, all while building friendships, learning new skills, and having plenty of fun along the way.
Mountain Lions
For Mountain Lions, Summer Camp provides an exciting opportunity to climb the rocks, build confidence, learn new skills, and gain valuable experience as they prepare to step up to the Navigator program all while working within the Patrol method.
Navigators
For Navigators, Summer Camp offers opportunities to take adventure to the next level through new challenges, outdoor skills, and hands-on experiences. Along the way, they’ll strengthen friendships, grow in confidence and character, and begin developing the leadership skills that will prepare them for the Adventurer program.
Adventurers
For Adventurers, Summer Camp is an opportunity to challenge themselves, strengthen advanced outdoor skills, and put leadership into action. Through adventure, service, and mentoring younger Trailmen, Adventurers can build lasting friendships, grow as leaders, and make memories that will carry well beyond their week at camp.
Programming
Trail Life Summer Camp in Bellefontaine, Ohio, will offer Trailmen a wide variety of opportunities to explore, learn, grow, and experience adventure together. With a new camp location comes new activities and possibilities! Scheduled program times Monday through Friday will include opportunities for Branch and Trail Badge work, outdoor skills, service, leadership, and other hands-on experiences. Evenings will bring everyone together for group activities, games, fellowship, and worship.
Mountain Lions will participate in a planned track of Branch work, service, outdoor skills, and learning experiences designed specifically for their age and stage. Their week will provide plenty of opportunities to try new things, build confidence, and prepare for the adventures ahead as Navigators.
Navigators and Adventurers will have opportunities to participate in a variety of required and elective Trail Badge skills and activities. Trailmen will be asked to share their preferences for what they would most like to learn and experience at camp after registration closes. These preferences help us build the schedule and place Trailmen into opportunities that interest and challenge them but are not guarantees of specific activities or badges.
Experience, Growth & Faith
Summer Camp is about much more than completing badges. Our focus is on giving Trailmen meaningful experiences that encourage growth in faith, character, leadership, relationships, and practical skills. Badge requirements may naturally be completed through these experiences, but badge completion is not the primary goal of the week.
We want Trailmen to leave camp having tried something new, strengthened a skill, grown in confidence, deepened their faith, developed friendships, and experienced what it means to live in brotherhood together.

Activities and badge opportunities are subject to change as we develop the program for our new location. The final activity schedule will be released after registration closes, allowing us to build the best possible experience based on our registered Trailmen, their interests, available instructors, and camp resources.

Accommodations
Summer Camp is for youth Trailmen and Troop Registered Adult Men. Troops camp together, providing opportunities for Trailmen and their Registered Adult leaders to strengthen relationships, build community, and experience camp as a Troop.
Tent Camping: Bring your own tent and personal camping gear. Tents may accommodate up to the number of campers for which they are designed and rated.
• Tree/Cabin Tied Hammocks not allowed, Stand Hammocks permitted if Adventurer/Adult, must camp with troop •
Cabin Camping: Cabins are A-frame style (2 story) include air conditioning and bunk-style beds. Campers should bring their own bedding and other personal sleeping necessities.
Camp Registration Includes
Accommodations of your choice, 17 meals (Sunday evening through Saturday morning), 2 camp t-shirts, opportunities for service projects, badge work, daily devotions and worship times, a variety of free time activities, scheduled competition game activities, and loads of fun.
Adventurers will also have the opportunity to lead sessions as well as serve in roles such as 1st officer, quartermaster, and assistant chaplain as a part of their options this year. Cost is included as part of Summer Camp. All attending adults must be current registered members of Trail Life.

1 – Mountain Lion Trailmen are required to have at least 2 registered adults from their home troop, a parent or legal guardian, or prior agreement from another troop with at least 2 registered adults to be their acting home troop. It is required for one of the qualifying adults to be available as a Trail Guide for the Summer Camp Mountain Lion Patrol for at least one day.
